Kape has evolved considerably over the course of his career, developing from a raw and athletically gifted finisher into a more refined and technically polished boxer. His hands remain among the fastest and hardest-hitting in the entire Flyweight division, and he is generally difficult to take down and control on the mat. His most significant historical weakness has been periods of inactivity during fights, though recent performances suggest he has worked diligently to address that issue. For Kape, the path to victory runs through timing. When Horiguchi commits to his forward explosions, he creates significant offensive opportunities for both fighters, and Kape will be looking to capitalize on those moments with his own counters.
