Match Overview

NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 33 Semifinals takes place on Friday, June 5, 2026, featuring the two highly anticipated semifinal matches that will determine who advances to the Best of the Super Juniors 33 Finals. Master Wato, who won Block A, faces YOH in one semifinal, while Kosei Fujita takes on Block B winner Robbie Eagles in the other bracket.

The winner of each semifinal will advance to the Best of the Super Juniors 33 Finals scheduled for June 7, 2026 at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, with the ultimate tournament winner earning the right to challenge DOUKI for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

The undercard features an exciting Eight-Man Tag Team Match pitting United Empire’s Callum Newman, Francesco Akira, Jakob Austin Young and Zane Jay against Unbound Company’s Yota Tsuji, Taiji Ishimori, Robbie X and Daiki Nagai, while Aaron Wolf, Toru Yano, Ryusuke Taguchi and KUSHIDA team up to take on House of Torture’s Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO and Yoshinobu Kanemaru in another Eight-Man Tag Team contest.

YOH ultimately defeated Master Wato in their semifinal clash, advancing to the Finals. At the same time, Kosei Fujita overcame Robbie Eagles to set up a highly anticipated championship final between YOH and Fujita on June 7.
