Match Overview
WWE NXT heads to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for another action-packed episode following the conclusion of the two-week NXT Revenge special. Last week’s Revenge ended dramatically as Zaria pushed Sol Ruca off the raised platform through the tables to win the Last Woman Standing match, putting a definitive stamp on their intense rivalry.
NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo finds himself at the center of two major storylines heading into tonight’s show. Keanu Carver made a massive statement last week by laying out Joe Hendry and sending a direct message to D’Angelo, declaring that the NXT Championship is a symbol of war and that he is coming for it. Adding to the mystery, D’Angelo was left with an unexpected box last week, and fans are eagerly waiting to find out what lies inside tonight.
North American Champion Myles Borne continues to face pressure from DarkState, but this time the challenge comes from within the faction itself. Saquon Shugars has stepped up to challenge Borne for the North American Championship, replacing Dion Lennox as the next contender in what promises to be an exciting title bout.
NXT’s newest signing Lizzy Rain is also set to make her highly anticipated debut tonight, while Shiloh Hill takes on former NXT Champion Ricky Saints in a hard-hitting singles match. Additionally, BirthRight (Uriah Connors & Channing Stacks Lorenzo) will go head-to-head with the team of EK Prosper and Dorian Van Dux in tag team action.
