Match Overview
WWE NXT returns to the premium live event scene with the 2026 edition of the Great American Bash, taking place on Sunday at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event airs on The CW Network in the United States and on Netflix internationally, and is part of a stacked weekend that also includes AEW Forbidden Door, TNA Slammiversary, and WWE Night of Champions.
The NXT Championship opens the show as reigning champion Tony D’Angelo defends his title against number one contender Naraku, who earned his shot by defeating Mason Rook. The NXT Women’s Championship headlines the evening as Lola Vice defends against Kendal Gray, who secured her title opportunity by defeating Kelani Jordan in a number one contender’s match.
WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair makes a courageous title defense despite injury against Arianna Grace, who earned her shot by defeating Izzi Dame in the tournament finals. NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria also defends her title in a highly anticipated rematch against former champion Tatum Paxley.
Former DarkState stablemates Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars finally settle their personal rivalry inside the ring, after Lennox made the shocking decision to betray and remove Shugars from the faction. Additionally, Tristan Angels and Shiloh Hill collide after Hill cost Angels the Evolve Championship match on the go-home show, in retaliation for Angels attacking Hill after the Mr. NXT Pageant.
